PASYDY: Thousands of employees are deprived of the prospect of advancement

The implementation of the goal of permanent Employees of Indefinite Time (EMP), is a collective responsibility of all involved, says in a statement PASYDY, emphasizing that "the time has come to systematize and promote joint actions to regulate the issue of Unemployed (Employed) EAX) and Fixed-Term Employees (EEA) ".

The issue was examined in the Ad Hoc Committee of PASYDY yesterday, during which the General Secretary of the Organization, Stratis Mattheou, informed the members of the Committee about the actions launched by PASYDY, with the aim of making the Employees of Indefinite Temporary Employment (EACH) permanent.

The Organization of Civil Servants invites the Ministry of Finance to arrange a meeting in the presence of representatives of the Civil Service Committee and the Legal Service, to initiate an intensive and substantive dialogue aimed at the final resolution of the issue.

He further recalls that the President of the Republic and the Minister of Finance have repeatedly stressed that they have a positive view of the issue, provided that the rule of law is observed.

PASYDY emphasizes that the permanence of EAX is considered a top priority, as it is considered necessary for the smooth operation of the Public Service on the one hand and on the other hand to remove the injustice suffered by thousands of employees, who lack the prospect of development.
