As part of the investigation into a case of possession of drugs and possession of drugs for the purpose of supply, the Police arrested three persons yesterday.
They are two men aged 47 and 44 and a woman aged 33.
The arrest of the above persons was preceded yesterday afternoon after coordinated actions, by the interception of their vehicles, which were being trafficked in an area of Limassol district.
Initially, the 44-year-old's car, in which the 33-year-old woman was a passenger, was stopped, where in a subsequent check in the luggage compartment of the vehicle, two nylon packages were found, containing a quantity of cannabis weighing four (4) kilograms and approximately 700 grams.
Also, in an investigation carried out on the 44-year-old, a small quantity of drugs and a sum of money amounting to 2,925 euros were found in his possession.
Both the 44-year-old man and the 33-year-old woman were arrested for obvious offenses and taken into custody.
As part of the investigation of the case, the vehicle and the 47-year-old were stopped, where three mobile phones and the sum of 2,150 euros were found in his possession.
In a subsequent investigation at the 44-year-old's house located in a village in the Limassol district, four more packages were found, containing a quantity of cannabis, weighing five (5) kilograms and approximately 755 grams.
Court warrants were issued against all three of the above persons and they were arrested to facilitate investigations.
