As part of the upgrade of its services and the convenience of citizens, the Police proceeded to install POS terminals for bank card payments, at a total of 24 points throughout Cyprus.
Specifically, at Police Headquarters, POS terminals have been placed in the following services: Traffic Police Headquarters, Criminal Records Office (CRO), Ministry of Justice, Firearms, Accounting Department.
Furthermore, in the districts of Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos, Famagusta, as well as in the Morphou district, POS terminals have been installed in all District Police Directorates (DPDs), in accounting offices, firearms offices, etc.
At the same time, POS have also been installed at the Police Stations of Polis Chrysochous and Kato Pyrgos.
It is noted that payments via POS will be made during cashiers' operating hours.
The Police continues its efforts to modernize its services, aiming to better serve the public.
