He initially spoke about the events that took place in the old Port of Limassol, stressing that 40 complaints were made, while visual material was collected which is evaluated in order to identify other people who participated in the rally. He added that two premises were also reported, with one not complying with the instructions of the Police, as a result of which a case was registered in the Court.
At the same time, he explained that the Police prevented in two cases, events at the Air Force and in front of the Limassol District Administration. Regarding the large gathering, she said that it was spontaneous, while several people gathered before the Police arrived. "Any dynamic intervention by the police could have caused upset," he added.
In addition, he stressed that the inspections carried out during the three days were increased with more than 43.000 inspections, with 665 complaints from citizens and five in premises.
He explained that inspections will be carried out in all the premises that open today. "Members of the Police and officials of the Ministry of Tourism will enter to check whether the measures and protocols are observed." He pointed out that in the first days there will be suggestions to the owners - entrepreneurs.
Mr. Andreou also spoke about music, clarifying that the intensity will be evaluated and whether it will provoke the people. Finally, he stated that the use of a mask is mandatory in the dining areas except at the time of feeding, with complaints being made to customers and owners, as the case may be.
