Weak low pressure prevails in the area, while weak high pressure gradually begins to temporarily affect the island.
Today, the weather in most areas of the island will be mainly clear, while in places there will be increased cloudiness. During the midday hours and after, clouds that will develop are expected to give isolated rains, without however excluding the occurrence of an isolated short storm, mainly in mountainous areas. Winds will be northeast to southeast and west in the afternoon to southwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be generally calm to a little rough, however in the north and east, it will be temporarily a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 25 degrees in the interior and the coasts and around 16 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will become mostly clear, while in places and mainly in the west, there will be temporarily increased clouds. Winds will be mostly northwest to northeast, light and transient to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be generally calm to a little rough, however in the north and east, it will be temporarily a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 12 degrees in the interior, around 15 on the coasts and around 7 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly clear, but in the afternoon there will be locally increased clouds in the mountains.
On Thursday and Friday, the weather will remain mostly clear, although on Friday afternoon, there will be locally increased clouds in the mountains.
The temperature until Friday is not expected to mark a significant change, to continue to fluctuate close to the average climatic values of the season.
