The Cyprus-Greece-Jordan Summit is taking place in Athens

The President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis will participate today, Wednesday, in the work of the tripartite Summit of Cyprus - Greece - Jordan that will take place at the Zappeion in Athens.

According to an announcement by the presidency, the tripartite Summit, which will also be attended by the King of Jordan Abdalla II and the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis, will address, among other developments in the Cyprus and Eastern Mediterranean, energy issues, the Migratory and efforts to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.

The tripartite Summit will begin its work at 12.15 pm on July 28 and will be followed by a working lunch.

The Summit will also be attended by Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulidis, Minister of Energy Natasa Pileidou, Government Spokesman Marios Pelekanos, Deputy Minister of Tourism Savvas Perdios and Ambassador of the Republic to Athens Kyriakos Kenevezos.

Earlier, at 10 in the morning of the same day, the President of the Republic will address the opening ceremony of the General Assembly of the World Interparliamentary Union of Hellenism to be held in the Greek Parliament.

Tonight, the President of the Republic will address an event organized by AIERA, in the context of its 99th Congress, during which the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister of Greece will be honored.
