The village of Prasteio remains without water and electricity for the third week due to the debt to the EAC. In Protoselidos, the resident of the village Chrystalla Fotiou was hosted, who spoke about the adventure experienced by the few inhabitants of the village.

Initially he said that the problem has not yet been resolved. "We are trying with all our strength. We are people over 70 and we try not to stress."

He added that this is the third time their water has been cut off in 2022. "Last time I had a heart attack and went to the hospital. This time I tried not to stress. I closed my shop."

Ms. Fotiou said that she is embarrassed by the people who visit her shop and that she does not have water in the toilets. "No one was interested except Mr. Chrysantho Savvidis."

He emphasized that today they will probably pay them a part of what they owe. "I called and no one answered. There's nothing better than having no water to bathe in."

He explained that there are three families in the village. "Me, the community leader with his wife and children and two more elderly people." He added that the rest come on weekends."

He clarified that the debt belongs to the Community Council. "They are not wrong not to pay it as the EAC more than doubled the amounts it wants."

MEP Loukas Fourlas was also hosted on the show, who mentioned that some people should think a little more humanely before entering some offices and gaining power by cutting electricity because the law says so. "There is consciousness, there is also humanity which should prevail".
