It is surprising the separation of Pre-Primary Education from Primary School in terms of the implementation of emergency measures against the pandemic, says in a written statement the President of POED, Myria Vassiliou.

Referring to the announcement of the Ministry of Education that Public and Private Kindergartens are excluded from the emergency measures, Ms. Vassiliou states that "we expect an official position regarding the logic with which the specific decision was made".

"In the midst of a pandemic, it is better not to leave unanswered questions and to raise reasonable concerns. "Above all, the health of students and teachers", he concludes.
