The Police informs the citizens again that the fraud continues with suspiciously misleading electronic messages (e-mails) that are sent en masse and falsely present the Cyprus Police as the sender.
The emails are sent from fake email addresses and include letters bearing the logos of the Cyprus Police and Interpol. In the e-mails and letters, persons are named, while the Chief of Police, Mr. Stelios Papatheodorou, is falsely presented as the sender.
