Problem with the candidacy of Ioulias Horvina Komnenos (VIDEO)

A problem arose with the nomination and the hundred signatures of Iulia Horvina Komnenos.

According to her adviser, Elli Theofanous who spoke to "Mesimeri and Something", she said that in violation she demanded from 130 people who have signed in support of Ms. Komninou to provide a copy of their political identity, even though the names and addresses have been provided signatures and ID number of each supporter.

Asked to answer if she disagrees with the fact that the Ministry of Internal Affairs should cross check who is the one who supports Mrs. Komnenos and who is entitled to vote, she replied that she agrees, however most of them have said that they are busy with various things and that they have already given a copy of the ID and the rest show some sensitivity in providing information and ask to be contacted to verify their identity or provide a copy.

What they propose is, instead of everyone going to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to get the identification done, which is not even possible since they have jobs, to contact them by phone if they don't want to give their identity and that would be enough.

In closing, he stated that they will do everything possible to find a solution otherwise they ensure their rights and why not appeal to justice.
