Paphos MP Chrysanthos Savvidis spoke about the problems in the road network of Paphos province, accusing the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works Giannis Karousos of indifference.
Speaking on the First Show of Radio Proto, Mr. Savvidis referred to the problems in the streets of Paphos, which have been damaged for years without anything being done.
In addition, he stressed that there is indifference on the part of the Minister. "The main minister is only interested in the Facebook posts about Ayia Napa. If we made him Minister of Ayia Napa, then I publicly call on the President of the Republic to change his title ".
He went on to say: "I challenge him publicly to tell us what his ministry in road affairs in Paphos has done over the years."
"They had announced that the road Paphos - Polis Chrysochous will start, it has started or we just did a pre-election May 13" said Mr. Savvidis.
He then referred to a road being built in an industrial area of the city, explaining that for the reason that it was built it is not useful.
"Yesterday I visited a connecting road they are building in an industrial area. The road they are building is so narrow and the sidewalks so huge that trucks cannot cross an industrial road. That is, they make something that for the nature they make is not useful ".
"I publicly call on Mr. Karousos to stop dealing only with Ayia Napa, since he is the minister of the entire Republic of Cyprus," said Mr. Savvidis.
