The Disciplinary Council of the National Health Service (OKYpY) suspended the Executive General Director of the Larnaca and Famagusta General Hospitals, following complaints regarding the performance of his duties.
Specifically, in its announcement, the OKYpY stated that, "following complaints related to the performance of the duties of the Executive General Director of the Larnaca and Famagusta General Hospitals, the Disciplinary Council of the Organization decided to place him on suspension until the investigation of the complaints is completed."
The Organization, "respecting the procedures of the Disciplinary Council, will not make any further statements until the investigation is completed and the findings are announced. It is noted that every employee has the presumption of innocence until proven otherwise."
