New relaxations in relation to the restrictive measures against the spread of the coronavirus, come into force today, Monday, February 21, according to the decree of the Minister of Health issued on Friday, while others are introduced, such as the rapid antigen detection test ( rapid test) once a week for children aged 4 and over.
The measures mentioned in the decree include, among others, the lifting of the ban on entry to persons who have not completed their vaccination scheme in restaurants, entertainment centers, music and dance centers, stadiums, theaters, cinemas, auditoriums, weddings, baptisms and accommodation. in hotels or tourist accommodation.
The measure will be valid from February 21, 2022, while entry will be allowed upon presentation of SafePass, ie a valid certificate of complete vaccination or a valid certificate of recovery or a rapid antigen test of 24 hours.
Also, according to the decree, effective from February 21, it is allowed to increase the maximum number of persons in restaurants, entertainment centers, music and dance centers, weddings and baptisms, from 200 to 250 people, in accordance with health protocols and the maximum number of people. per square meter that is in force, as well as the increase in the number of persons per table in restaurants, entertainment centers, music and dance centers, weddings and baptisms, from 8 to 12 people.
In addition, from 21 February, a total of 20 persons are allowed in the home, not including minors up to 12 years of age, provided that the total number of 30 persons does not exceed.
From 21 February 2022, children aged 4 and over, attending kindergarten and pre-primary, are required to take a rapid antigen test once a week.
In addition, it was decided to extend the "test to stay" measure in Primary and Secondary education, while from 21 February 2022 the teleworking rate is reduced from 50% to 25% of the staff of each company or organization in the service sector, excluding essential services.
It is recalled that the percentage includes people who due to illness or declaration as close contact with a confirmed case are self-limiting and work from home, as well as people who use their leave to rest.
Also, from 21 February 2022, workers in day care facilities for vulnerable groups, transitional hostels, day care centers and child protection facilities will be required to demonstrate either a 72-hour negative laboratory test (PCR) or a negative test. (rapid test) valid for 24 hours, either a valid certificate of complete vaccination, or a valid certificate of recovery from the disease COVID-19.
In addition, the Council of Ministers decided from next Monday to increase the occupancy of stadiums to 70% of capacity and increase the occupancy of theaters, cinemas and auditoriums to 75% of capacity.
