A 22-year-old man is being treated in a serious condition in the intensive care unit of the Paphos Hospital, who was injured in a new road collision that happened last night in Paphos.
The collision happened around 10.30pm, on Coral Bay Avenue, when the 22-year-old man, under circumstances that are being investigated, lost control of the motorcycle he was riding, causing it to hit a parked car and overturn.
The 22-year-old was taken by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital, where he was kept for hospitalization in the intensive care unit. As established by the medical examinations, he suffered fractures of the pelvis, right arm and skull, while he has a hemorrhagic contusion on the brain. His condition is described as serious but stable.
The Peyia Police Station is investigating the causes of the collision.
