According to a police statement, following information received on Sunday, around 9:45, that dogs had bitten a woman and two children in the industrial area of Moni, members of the police went to the area, where they found a 25-year-old woman with two children aged six and three. The 25-year-old woman and the three-year-old were injured in various parts of their bodies and were taken by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital.

The three-year-old was discharged with instructions, while the 25-year-old was admitted to surgery to have her wounds stitched. Her health condition is considered by the attending physicians to be out of danger.

Further tests revealed that the attack was carried out by three dogs that reside in a house in the area, the statement said.
