A serious traffic accident occurred shortly after midnight, on the Paphos - Limassol highway, heading towards Limassol.
According to the Police, a 30-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle at some point on the road (after the Erimi exit).
The driver was trapped in his vehicle and was extricated by members of the Fire Department. The driver suffered leg injuries and was transported to a private hospital in Limassol, where he was kept for treatment.
His health condition is described as serious. Limassol Traffic Police are continuing their examinations.
