The serious injury of a forty-year-old man is the result of a traffic accident that occurred late Wednesday night in Paphos.
According to the Police, the traffic accident occurred at 23:40 on Wednesday night on the Mesogi - Tsada road towards Tsada, when a 22-year-old driver, under circumstances that are being investigated, collided head-on with a vehicle driven by a forty-year-old man. Both are from Paphos.
The two drivers were transported by ambulance to the Paphos Emergency Medical Service.
According to the doctor on duty, the 22-year-old was discharged after the first aid provided to him, while the 40-year-old was detained for further hospitalization since his injury is considered serious.
Both drivers were tested for alcohol and showed zero results. The causes of the accident are being investigated.
