The University of Cyprus is among the top universities worldwide in nine out of the eleven scientific fields examined by the Times Higher Education Organization.

As noted in a University announcement, this success follows the recent inclusion of the University of Cyprus among the 401-500 positions worldwide in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
It is also emphasized that the excellence of the University is confirmed by its consistent presence in recent years in all the main ranking lists, while it is recalled that the University of Cyprus is the only Cypriot university ranked in 389th place in the QS World University Rankings and in 701-800th place in the Shanghai Ranking (ARWU).
