The new school year 2024-2025 begins today, Monday, for teachers of all levels and as the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Athina Michailidou, stated in her interview with KYPE, which was published yesterday Sunday, this year it will definitely be better than the previous ones, "because we implement our goals, we implement the policies we have announced".
It is reminded that on Friday, September 6th, all Secondary Education students return to school, and on Monday, September 9th, the first bell is expected to ring for all children in public Primary, Kindergarten and Special Schools.
During the new school year, the number of teachers is 5.044, while for this year, the total number of Secondary General Education teachers expected to serve will be 7.031.
Regarding Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training (MTEEK), the number of trainers is 667.
