The Hellenic Republic will proceed with a mission of 26 forest firefighters/forest commanders to support ground forces on the fire fronts in Cyprus.
In a post by the Fire Service's press spokesman, Andreas Kettis, on X, it is stated that according to relevant information from the Civil Defense, the Hellenic Republic intends to proceed "with the dispatch of 26 forest firefighters/forest commanders to support our ground forces on the fire fronts and who are scheduled to depart by transport aircraft from Elefsina airport at approximately 16:00".
