The Holy Cara of Saint Glorious Great Martyr Barbara will be brought to Cyprus from Greece for veneration
As part of the celebrations for the completion of 140 years since the Inauguration of the holy church of Saint Barbara of the Saint Barbara Community, the Holy Cara of Saint Glorious Great Martyr Barbara will be brought to Cyprus from Greece for veneration and sanctification of the Christeponymous crew.
The Holy Cara, which will be carried by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Trikki, Gardiki and Pyli, Mr. Chrysostomos, will be officially welcomed by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Tamasos and Orini, Mr. Isaias, supported by the holy clergy, local rulers and the people, on Friday, October 14 2022 at 5.30:XNUMX p.m., on the main Grigoris Auxentiou Avenue (Agia Varvara-Mathiati road) in Agia Varvara.
Afterwards, the Holy Cara in procession will be taken to the church of Agia Varvara, where it will remain for veneration until Tuesday, October 18, 2022.
The temple will be open every day, from 6.30 in the morning until 9.30 in the evening.
