Mustafa Destici, leader of the Grand United Party (BBP), visited the part of the besieged occupied city of Famagusta, which opened in October 2020, as part of his contacts in the occupied territories, according to "Cyprus Postasi".
According to the Press and Information Office, Mr. Destigi rode a bicycle, talked to the citizens and was informed by the "authorities" about the part of the enclosed city of Famagusta, which opened.
Referring to his tour of the part of the besieged city of Famagusta that opened, Destiji said that the section there is open to everyone, "Christians, Europeans, Greek Cypriots and not only Muslims and Turks" and argued that there was no benefit from to keep the enclosed city of Famagusta closed, neither for the Turkish Cypriots, nor for the Greek Cypriots.
