The President of the Republic is being presented today with the reports of four services that were related to the response to the devastating fire in the villages of mountainous Limassol.
These are the reports of the Fire Department, the Police, the Forestry Department and the Civil Defense, which have already been received by the political heads of the services.
Meanwhile, the payment of the lump sum for the purposes of covering the basic needs of those affected by the fire began yesterday.
The goal, as stated by the Minister of Interior, is to pay the amounts of money to all beneficiaries within the next week.
With the aim of better informing citizens about the measures decided by the Council of Ministers, open rallies are being organized in the affected communities. Today, rallies will be held in Kivides and Agios Ambrosios, and tomorrow in Vouni.
