Clash of foreigners in Paphos – One person in hospital

A case of assault causing grievous bodily harm is being investigated by the Pafos Crime Investigation Department against a 40-year-old man.

According to the Press Representative of ADE Paphos and Head of TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou on 6.9.22 at 18:50 information was given that there was a fight between foreigners on Sokratous Street in Paphos.

A Paphos Police patrol went to the area, where it was found that one person had serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Department of Accidents and Emergencies of the General Hospital of Paphos. As it was established, this is a 42-year-old man who, according to the doctor on duty, suffered a nasal fracture.

In the case, testimony was secured against a 40-year-old man who was subsequently arrested on a warrant and is in custody.

The examinations for the case are continued by the Paphos TAE.
