Episodes unfolded last night in Paphos, resulting in two people being injured and two others being arrested.

According to the data under examination, around 10.45 last night, information was received about episodes between two different groups.

The two groups, each consisting of about twenty-five people, possessing aggressive instruments, such as sticks, knives, etc., clashed with each other, resulting in two young people being injured, while the clashes caused damage to the windows of an adjacent building. .

Members of the Police went to the scene, who, with their intervention, restored order, while they arrested two young people, aged 17 and 25.

The two injured, young men aged 20 and 22, were transported by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital, where the 20-year-old was found to have suffered a broken rib and pneumothorax, while the 22-year-old was found to have two fractures in his left arm. Both were detained for further treatment.
