With the creation of an ad hoc committee to discuss the pending issues, the consultations for the conclusion of a collective agreement for the staff working at OKYPY are continuing intensively. Speaking to KYPE, Charalambos Harilaou, Press Representative of OKYPY, expressed optimism that the golden ratio will be found.

Mr. Charilaou stated that the meeting between the Organization and the trade unions that took place on Tuesday, to discuss the issues related to the collective agreement for the staff working at OKYpY, "took place with a fruitful and constructive dialogue. There have been convergences and for the rest of the other issues, an ad hoc committee has been set up, which will meet next week to start discussing all the issues".

With regard to the ATA payment, Mr. Harilaou stated that the Organization made it clear that it will be given to OKYPY employees, as it is given to the public and wider public sector. "The rest of the issues, including the evolution of workers' wages, will be discussed in the ad hoc committee and we hope that through the continuation of a constructive dialogue, at the end of the day, the golden ratio will be found and we will reach a positive agreement, so that conclude a collective agreement for the employees".

"We are optimistic that at the end of the day the golden ratio will be found", concluded Mr. Harilaou.
