With witness statements and scientific tests on evidence, the investigations of the TAE Limassol continue, in relation to the armed robbery in an isolated property, in the area of Agios Georgios Alamanos, on Wednesday night.
According to police sources, by noon, about half of the 30 patrons who were in the building at that time had been summoned for questioning, while investigations in the area continue and information is evaluated.
Evidence found at the scene has been sent for scientific testing in an attempt to identify genetic material to help identify the perpetrators.
The four hooded armed robbers entered the building around 21:30 and brandishing weapons, allegedly took watches, mobile phones, money and other property from those present, before fleeing. Two people were taken to hospital after being hit when they fought back.
In the microscope of the police investigators is also a bag that was found nearby and which the perpetrators left behind, with part of the stolen property.
