A 38-year-old man, who arrived from Israel, was arrested at Larnaca Airport for charges related to, among other things, participation in a criminal organization.
According to a statement from the Police Communications Branch, "a red notice is pending against the 38-year-old from the Russian authorities, for the offenses of obtaining goods by false pretenses, participation in a criminal organization and participation and acceptance of committing crimes."
The 38-year-old is expected to be brought before the Larnaca District Court today for the start of his extradition proceedings.
