Yesterday, in the afternoon, upon his arrival at Larnaca Airport, a 40-year-old man was arrested after his information was checked, as it was found that he was wanted by the Russian authorities for fraud offenses, which were committed between the years 2019 - 2022.
His arrest was made pursuant to a temporary court warrant and today he is expected to appear before the Larnaca District Court, for the commencement of his extradition proceedings.
The Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department continues its examination of the case.
