The trade unions SEK, PEO, PASYDY, DEOK, PASYKI and PA.SY.NO., in their joint meeting on Monday, September 16, 2024, evaluated the data so far regarding the consultations with the State Health Services Organization (OKYpY) for the conclusion of a collective labor agreement for OKYpY staff.
The unions consider that the lack of progress and stagnation observed in the matter is solely the responsibility of the Organization, which deliberately and repeatedly postpones meetings and avoids signing a collective agreement. This unacceptable attitude of OKYPY constitutes a mockery and degenerates social dialogue and the process of collective negotiations
Bearing in mind the above, the unions decided to carry out a 24-hour strike action within the first fortnight of October.
To this end, local general assemblies of their members will be held to determine the exact date of the strike, as well as the actions for its further escalation.
More information on the strike measures will be given by the Organizations at a later stage in a press conference in which there will also be relevant documentation about the Organization's obstruction and inconsistency.
