A case of assault against members of the order, assault causing actual bodily harm, disturbance and malicious damage is being investigated by the Paphos TAE against six persons.
According to the Press Spokesman of ADE Paphos and Head of TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou shortly after noon six persons three men and three women visited the District Offices of the Aliens and Immigration Service in Paphos with the aim of submitting a request.
According to the complaint, after it was explained to them that applications are made by appointment, the six people refused to accept it, protested causing concern and allegedly assaulted members of the Immigration and Naturalization Service who were trying to enforce order.
As Mr. Nikolaou mentioned, a number of members suffered abrasions while a policewoman's glasses were broken from the alleged attack she received.
Subsequently, the six persons were arrested and taken into custody.
Investigations into the case are ongoing.
