A meeting with the Advisory Scientific Committee was held by the Minister of Health, Michalis Hatzipantela, on Friday morning in order to discuss the road map for managing the pandemic.
According to information from the Ministry of Health, the experts submitted their recommendations for the preparation of the road map, which is expected to be completed around the end of August.
Any decisions are expected to be locked in a new meeting of the members of the SEE with the Minister of Health on August 30 to be put before the Cabinet, which will meet the very next day.
For schools, the experts' recommendation is to return to classrooms with negative 48-hour tests.
The CEE also recommended that masks remain indoors in order to avoid chains of transmission.
