Starting today, Monday, the vaccination for COVID-19 and influenza for those over 18 years of age since since the beginning of October the vaccination was exclusively for those over 60 years of age.

"From today, Monday, October 23, the vaccination program of the Ministry of Health enables all citizens who are over 18 years old to go through the vaccination centers to get the vaccine for COVID-19 but also for the flu at the same time", said Mr. Tambouris.

He noted that those interested only in COVID-19 they can do so but those only interested in the flu should refer to their personal doctors.

Citizens can be vaccinated against influenza by having their ID with them while for COVID-19 their identity card and previous vaccination card.

As Mr. Tambouris explained, for COVID-19 this vaccine is the annual dose against the disease and for some people who come it is the fourth, fifth or sixth dose they have received.

He noted that some people get both vaccines at the same time while others want to get them timed apart.

Mr. Tambouris mentioned that the timely receipt of vaccines for COVID-19 and influenza helped to better plan the vaccination program.
