A fatal road traffic collision occurred shortly after midnight in Paphos.
Specifically, at ten minutes past midnight, PANAGIOTIS SIIK, 21 years old, from Kissonerga, was driving a four-wheeled motorcycle on Georgiou Michael Street, heading towards Christou Kkelis Avenue, in Kissonerga.
Under circumstances that are being investigated, the driver lost control of his motorcycle, causing it to swerve, initially crashing into bushy vegetation and then into a parked car.
The 21-year-old was taken by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital, where despite the efforts of the doctors on duty, he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
Paphos Traffic Police is investigating the causes of the accident.
