The result of the first PCR test in which the Auditor General, Odysseas Michailidis, was negative, while around 19:15 the result of the second is expected.

This was mentioned during the plenary session today by the Chairman of the Audit Committee, Zacharia Koulias, and the Speaker of Parliament, Adamos Adamou.

Specifically, Mr. Koulias informed the Plenary that the first PCR test was performed with a negative result. For his part, Mr. Adamou stated that he contacted the epidemiological team and after giving its opinion, proceeded to the Plenary Session. He also said that the result of the second PCR test around 1915 is expected.

The Auditor General had been summoned to attend the Parliamentary Audit Committee in the morning. As he stated before the Commission, the positive result resulted in a rapid antigen test, which he underwent during his arrival in Parliament. He added, however, that in a second test he did immediately after the first, the result was controversial.

So he left the session in order to undergo a PCR test, so as to crystallize whether he is positive or not.
