The Cyprus Police family was plunged into deep mourning by the unexpected death of its member, Yiannis Economides, Sergeant 1185, who passed away on Tuesday, February 04, 2025, at the age of 52.
The Leadership and members of the Police honor his memory and express their deep sorrow and sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. Support for them, especially in these difficult times, is a given.
Yiannis Economides joined the ranks of the Cyprus Police in 1992, at the age of 20. He served in the Police with conscientiousness and dedication to duty, serving in the Limassol Police Directorate, as well as in the Presidential Guard Unit.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, February 06, 2025, at 11.00am, from the Church of the Archangel Michael - Monovolikos, in Limassol.
