Specifically, after the end of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Health, Michalis Hadjipandelas, made statements that, among other things, referred to the compulsory vaccination and the abolition of the Safe Pass.
Initially speaking about the mandatory vaccination, he said "The specific issue has not been discussed at all in the Council of Ministers, nor have I received the opinion from the Attorney General. I have asked the Attorney General to inform me if there is any suggestion that there should be mandatory vaccination in some groups of the population to be implemented either by a decision of the cabinet or by a decision of the Parliament ".
Asked by a reporter about the Safe Pass and whether it would expire in 7 months instead of 9 months in Europe, he said: "This issue will be discussed next week in Brussels when I will be present at the Council of Ministers and if there will be any change. I will inform you".
