The reform of justice in Cyprus was discussed by the Minister of Justice and Public Order Anna Koukkidis Prokopiou during her meeting with a delegation of the Federation of Employers and Industrialists on Friday.
According to a statement from the Ministry, during the meeting issues of common interest were discussed, mainly related to the reform of justice in Cyprus, with the Minister referring to the excellent cooperation that exists between the Ministry and the OEB and emphasizing the importance of the implementation of the reform, since the quick delivery of Justice will contribute to the further development of the Cypriot economy.
It is added that the operation of the Commercial Court and the Maritime Court were discussed, as well as ways to resolve disputes more quickly through arbitration and mediation procedures, while special mention was made of the success of the memorandum signed by the Ministry of Justice with the OEB for the employment of released prisoners , as 65 families have already benefited from this project.
