The President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis chaired today, at the Presidential Palace, a meeting of the Council of Ministers.
During the meeting, a proposal was approved, which concerns the use of the State Exhibition space. The possibility of relocating to the area of government services, such as the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy and the IdEK, will be examined.
Also, in collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Culture, the possibility of hosting a multi-purpose cultural event (e.g. modern dance, theater, film screenings) in the space will be examined.
An Inter-ministerial Committee was established consisting of the Ministers of Finance (chairman), Interior, Trade, Energy and Industry, Transport, Communications and Works and the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, who will monitor the progress of the project and take any necessary decisions.
