The court reserved its decision for tomorrow Tuesday, in relation to the request of the Police for the detention of the four people who were arrested, on Sunday night, as suspects of participation in the incidents that took place at the "Alfamega" stadium.
The procedure was held at noon at the Limassol General Hospital, following the request of the lawyer of one of the arrested, who is hospitalized under guard, after, as he claims, he was beaten by police officers.
Due to objections and the lateness of the hour, the court reserved its decision regarding the request of the Police for an eight-day detention for tomorrow, Tuesday.
The four suspects, two 17-year-olds, an 18-year-old and a 21-year-old, all from Limassol, were spotted outside the AEL Fans' Association and in the sight of the police they allegedly got into a car with the intention of escaping.
According to the Police, its members stopped the vehicle and from a check carried out, a metal bat was found in it, while hoods were found in the possession of the three.
When interrogated, three of those arrested allegedly admitted that they entered the stadium illegally without being ticket holders.
They are being investigated for the offenses of conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, illegal possession and transportation of an offensive weapon, illegal entry into a sports venue and obstructing and disrupting a sports match.
The Police are looking for 17 other persons, whose photos they have released.
