The Department of Agriculture announced that it is accepting applications for damage caused by a windstorm on March 15, 2026 to Spring I and II harvest potatoes in the communities of Xylofagos, Ormideia and Pervolia in Larnaca, as well as to livestock premises in the community of Ormideia in the Larnaca district and in the Municipal District of Liopetri in the Municipality of Ayia Napa.
According to the Department's announcement, the owners, tenants or managers of the affected farms are invited to submit the duly completed Damage Declaration form no later than April 9, 2026 to the Larnaca District Agricultural Office and no later than April 7, 2026 to the Famagusta District Agricultural Office.
The Damage Declaration forms for the Revised National Framework are available at the offices of the Larnaca District Agricultural Office, as well as on the website of the Department of Agriculture in the thematic section "Damage Declaration Forms", it is added.

At the same time, the Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for damage to plant and fixed assets in covered vegetable crops, strawberries and high greenhouses caused by a windstorm that hit the Famagusta District on March 14-15, 2026.
Owners, tenants or managers of affected farms are invited to submit a properly completed Damage Declaration form no later than April 2, 2026 to the Famagusta District Agricultural Office.
The Damage Declaration forms for the National Framework are located at the offices of the Famagusta District Agricultural Office, in the "Damage Declaration Forms" section.
