One of the most critical weeks of the second wave begins for Cyprus. Having in the quiver the mass tests in population with rapid and in workers via pcr the country is trying to tame the second wave which seems to be stronger than the first.

Cyprus is already under a regime of measures throughout Cyprus while a local Lockdown has been imposed in two cities.
The possibility of having a Christmas with measures is more than visible, while as SigmaLive is informed, the possibility of relaxing measures for example in Limassol is not in the immediate plan. SigmaLive itself states that any measures announced in the run-up to Christmas will concern the whole of Cyprus. It is therefore possible to see a restriction on gatherings in homes.
