A stolen car was spotted being driven on a Limassol street by a Police patrol. The 45-year-old driver was stopped and arrested.

Specifically, around 11 p.m. yesterday, members of the OPE Limassol, who were on motorized patrol, spotted a car that had been reported stolen moving on Franklinou Roosevelt Street, in Limassol.

The members of the Police stopped the vehicle and found that it was being driven by a 45-year-old resident of Limassol. The 45-year-old was arrested for a self-inflicted offense and taken into custody, while the vehicle was taken to a Police Station for further examination.

The car, owned by a 65-year-old man, was stolen on the night of February 9-10, 2024, while it was parked outside the owner's home in Limassol.
