There are many questions from consumers regarding the electricity subsidy.
SigmaLive contacted EAC Spokesperson Christina Papadopoulou, who stated that the discount that consumers will have on their electricity consumption for domestic use will be around 70 euros for 800 kilowatt-hours of consumption.
He added that the more electricity a house consumes, the less subsidy it will receive. “The maximum is 800 kilowatt hours. The aim is to promote energy saving".
In the next period, more explanations are expected to be given by the competent authorities.
