According to preliminary data, the average gross monthly remuneration of employees during the second quarter of 2022 is estimated at €2.081 compared to €1.982 in the second quarter of 2021, i.e. an increase of 5,0%.
It is pointed out that during the first and second quarters of 2021 the Special Plans of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance to deal with the pandemic were in place, with the result that the average gross monthly earnings are reduced, since the amount taken into account is the earnings that have paid by the employer and do not include any amount paid as an allowance by the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance.
The average gross earnings adjusted for seasonal fluctuations in the second quarter of 2022 are estimated at € 2.163 and compared to the first quarter of 2022 there is an increase of 0,6%.
From the 1st quarter of 2022 onwards the figures are preliminary.
The average gross monthly earnings of men in the second quarter of 2022 are estimated at € 2.248 and women at € 1.879.
Compared to the second quarter of 2021, the average monthly earnings of men and women increased by 4,8% and 5,3% respectively.
