The Police proceeded last night to arrest two young people for the flagrant offense of illegal possession of game during a closed hunting season.
Around 23:45, members of the Green Line Surveillance and Countermeasures for Migrant Flows Sub-Directorate stopped a car in an area of Nicosia, driven by a 22-year-old man, with a 16-year-old passenger.
In a subsequent search inside the vehicle, a freshly killed hare was found, resulting in the two occupants being arrested for the flagrant offense of illegal possession of game.
The exams continue.
