Around 9.15:XNUMX p.m. yesterday, YKAN members, after evaluating information, went to an apartment building in Limassol, to locate a suspicious person, in relation to a drug case.
After going to a certain floor, the members of YKAN found a person in the corridor, who was holding a shoulder bag and in the sight of the members of the Police, he ran away, while he managed to escape on foot. During his escape, the shoulder bag he was carrying fell to the ground, in which nine transparent nylon bags were found, which contained cannabis, with a total gross weight of approximately 265 grams, as well as a set of keys.
Subsequently, in an investigation carried out with a court warrant in an apartment in the said apartment building, in the presence of two persons aged 25 and 20, a quantity of cannabis weighing approximately 60 grams, a small quantity of cocaine, as well as the sum of €2,440 were located and taken.
The two suspects were arrested and taken into custody to facilitate investigations, while actions are being taken to locate the third suspect.
