Three people are hospitalized at the Nicosia General Hospital with heatstroke, two of whom are in the intensive care unit with their condition being serious, the Press Representative of the State Health Services Organization (OKYpY) Haralambos Charilaou told KYPE.
"We have the 34-year-old who was discharged but remains in the intensive care unit and yesterday another woman came in, a 66-year-old intubated and there is also a 78-year-old woman with heatstroke who is in a ward," he said.
The 25-year-old who was hospitalized with heatstroke was discharged.
As Mr. Harilaou mentioned, "we have daily cases of heat exhaustion who visit the TAEPs of public hospitals, receive the proper medical treatment and are discharged."
