Around 4.10 in the morning today, members of the Limassol Police Directorate, in the context of motorized patrols, located a man riding a moped without registration plates.
The driver was seen stopping outside a bakery in Limassol and entering wearing a hat and a cardigan hood he was wearing.
The members of the Police immediately approached the unknown man and from examinations carried out it was found that he was a 39-year-old resident of Limassol, while during the physical search that followed, a 9 cm long opening knife was found in his possession. From further examinations, it was found that the moped driven by the 39-year-old had been declared as stolen on 16/11/2020.
The 39-year-old was arrested for spontaneous offenses and was taken into custody while the Germasogeia Police Station continues its investigations.
