A 2000-year-old man was fined 43 euros for the offense of failing to comply with a gamekeeper's mark.
According to the Police, a few minutes after midnight today, members of the Thera Fund were carrying out a static control in the mountainous area of Paphos.
Specifically, they signaled to a car driver to stop for a check but he refused and left the scene.
Examinations revealed that the driver of the vehicle was 43 years old, a resident of the area. He was called to the Panagia police station, his vehicle was searched without finding anything and he was issued an out-of-court fine for the amount of 2.000 euros.
The offense he is facing is failure to comply with a gamekeeper's mark.
